Position: CAD/CAM Sr. Executive

Job Description / Responsibility

• Familiar & working capability with different Apparel CAD/CAM system like Lectra, Gerber, Optitex etc
• Create patterns using CAD system according to size, considering stretching of material, size grading, sloppier block drafting etc.
• Create a master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes, using measurement charts, drafting instruments, CAD systems, and/or digitizing devices.
• Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material and mark fabric accordingly. Pattern efficiency and marker plan.
• Knowledge & understanding of garment construction, and design proportions.
• Draw details on outlined parts to indicate where parts are to be joined, as well as the positions of pleats, pockets, buttonholes, and other features, using CAD system.
• Draw outlines of pattern parts by adapting or copying existing patterns, or by drafting new patterns using digitizing devices.
• Examine sketches, sample articles, and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts, and to calculate fabric consumption.
• Mark samples and finished patterns with information such as garment size, section, style, identification, and sewing instructions.

Educational Requirements

At least Bachelor in any subject. Educational Qualification can be relaxed for highly experienced candidates.

4-5 Years in Practical Field

• Applicant should be innovative, energetic, Dynamic.
• Age 25 to 30 year(s)
• Should be able to understand design sketch and details to translate them into Garments.
• Good understanding of Knit, Woven & Denims fabric and how they behave in garments making.
• Capability to work with MS-Office, Internet & E-mail.
• Knowledge of design, apparel, materials are preferred.
